I was wondering if you had any more issues with your Tiger 660 so far. I've had to change my clutch after 20,000km (12000 miles) but guarantee covered it. Also the fuel consumption in city is a problem. It's around 27 mpg if I do city. In the highway it's OK-ish. Two different dealers told me my consumption is fine but I beg to differ and sounds fishy to me. I am not sure if to change the motorcycle before I have more problems even if I have to lose money

On my 8S, the passenger pad has a hard spot on its forward most part that irritates the bone at the base of my spine. Did you experience that?

Anyone know why the 8s has that hum when driving down the road around 30+ mph?

Chandler ride now jipped me. They told me they financed through synchrony at 11 percent interest with half down /4600 and instead they got me with a loan shark paying more interest than what the bike costs. I told them I could pay for the bike if I transferred money to my checking but they insisted on financing. I'm paying out the ass taking the word for them. Terrible cell service in the building and still terrible service when connected to their wifi. Sales manager just comes up and throws interest rate but no numbers. I figure after calculations it's not a terrible deal for convenience but they told me sigh here here here .. Not here ...here (after waiting ages for the pages to load.) they fucked me. Never doing business with them again. Still took six hours to purchase from them. They are dishonest. Sales manager is too quiet when presenting a contract and believing what the salesperson said(which is bullshit.). No explanation of the contract. Sign here, trust me vibes.

I just ordered mine about a week ago. First one to arrive in the country! Didn't even sit on it but I know it will feel right! Takes another one month and a half months to arrive... :( Only thing I can do for now is watch other people riding on yt 😅

I removed those little plastic caps using my thumb nails. No need to make it complicated. The thread size is 8 mm. I bought Oxford bobbins. Known quality and cheaper than Triumph.

It seem that this is the same mounts as used for saddlebags. Dont think bothe things can be used at the same time, so one have to choose between them. 🤔

I bought nc750, put 23 litres of fuel into trunk, but bike still dont want to start. I'm realy dissapointed!

Ok you make life too difficult for yourself. Simply leave the inner weights inside and go get a M6 60 screw to fit the stock inner weight. Then using the new screw, the guard and the weight and single spacer the job is done in 1 minute. Don't over think this simple installation.

From NC750X DCT to Triumph, KTM, GSXS and this? Why?

Thanks for the video! I noticed that Triumph rack has a maximum load of 5 kg and that Givi rack has a maximum load of 10 kg. Would you have taken the Givi rack if it was available at the time of producing this video?

Plus they will protect your hands from flying objects. Ive had big bugs hit my hands before and that hurts, not to mention what a rock could do to your hands at high speeds. I just ordered a set for my 2024 DCT 750. Great video.

Thanks for all the sharing of your process of testing and initial thoughts of ownership. I am just starting to get serious about it myself. I was amazed at how quiet the ride was, but I’m sure you can audio filter it too. It’s a similar thing to me using a bone conducive headset for phone calls while driving… I can hear what’s happening all around me. So here is one question for you, do you feel like you’re more aware of the traffic around you because you can hear them better? Just wondering?

Semi related- I'm trying to figure out where to tap into for ACC on switch wire for the Chigee AIO-5 Ride Navigation/Carplay Display. Any suggestions? Looks like it doesn't draw a lot of power, just to tell the unit to stay on when the key is on...

Did anyone else catch the hood of the car that wasn't secure @4:24 ? They didn't close it properly, and on the freeway it blew over and smashed the windshield. Thankfully, no one was hurt. Now I'm always noticing it on different cars while driving

Im just here to add that with the stock grab rails the seat was difficult to put back on, installing the luggage rack made it significantly easier.

Seems like you're being way too polite and kind to Calsci. They provided incorrect hardware and basically ruined the adjustability of the windshield. At least some people might be able to steer clear of Calsci after watching this video. Thank you!

I just bought myself a sw motech tank bag. But i have a problem, i think. When you install the sleep nuts, you use a hex key. But in my case, the small black rings are totally round. Do you have any idea how I can tighten them?

Something kind of comforting about the low frequency drone of a twin cylinder, compared to a triple or four. It's torque and sound just feel reassuring, and less fatiguing to listen to over a long ownership. It's a little like music... a great orchestral piece offers so much strength, foundation, and power with the low frequency instruments coming in... like tuba, bass viola, bass guitar, even trombone.

Me again...regarding app connectivity. Popping the seat and removing and reinserting the main fuse seems to wake the TCU back up and have it reconnect to the cellular network. It's certainly not ideal. However, I took my bike in for its 1,000 mile service last week and a number of software updates were applied as well. Since then, I haven't had to pull the main fuse and connectivity has been great. I had another issue where the traction control would randomly turn off, behaving just like I did a 1-second press of the TC button, only it wouldn't turn back on until the bike sat for a few hours or I pulled the main fuse. This seems to have been corrected as well. Navigation is still trash, sadly.

Regarding the Start button not also functioning as a Stop button....instead, just put the kick stand down. It took me about 1,000 miles on my Mulholland before I figured this out. To get going again, raise the stand and hit the Start button. Cheers!

Especially since the other two Del Mar's you tried had a plusher ride yours likely will too once full bedded in (like your rear brake).

It really wants to be left on a trickle charger to avoid the cold start issue. The plastics do rattle, but eh. 2 years later and it still feels like the bike I bought 2 years ago, I can't complain

You still have it? How did you do the break in period usage ? Under 4500 ROM is hard for me.
